The Pro-Human AI Elevation Awards showcase responsible, human-centric, Utah-connected companies whose products and actions align with Utah’s pro-human AI ethos.

Whether you are a four-person startup or a large enterprise, we want to let Utah and the world know how you are building and deploying AI responsibly — because we want others to build like you.

If you, your company, or a company you know is building in ways that ensure AI is human-guided and human-enhancing, we strongly encourage you to apply.

Award Categories

We will recognize excellence across three distinct categories. All category entrants will also be considered for the Pro-Human AI Elevation Award — our grand prize — and receive special recognition at the Utah AI Summit on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2026.

Workforce Elevation

For companies using AI to help their people do more — learn faster, work smarter, take on bigger responsibilities. We want to hear about employees who are more capable, better paid, or doing more meaningful work because of how their employer deployed AI.

Community Advancement

For companies using AI to close a genuine gap in areas like healthcare, education, public safety, or how people engage with their government and neighbors. These are solutions meant to work for and serve communities and people.

Pro-Human Breakthrough

For companies building AI products where accountability is a deliberate part of the design. They test for problems before they ship, they tell people what the system can and can't do, and they give users a way to push back when something goes wrong.

Pro-Human AI Elevation Award (Grand Prize)

Selected from the other categories, this honor recognizes a company that exemplifies that doing right by people and building a great business with AI aren’t mutually exclusive; this is Utah’s strongest exemplar of Pro-Human AI development.

A Platform for Your Mission: Raise your hand and show Utah what you’ve built, why it’s human-centric, and who you’ve helped — including mainstage recognition and admission to the Governor’s annual in-state, AI-focused event at the Grand America for finalists.

Community Impact: Help reassure the public of AI’s promise by showcasing its altruistic and empowering applications. Skepticism around this technology abounds, and helping people see the upside is important.
